Madill Motor Group
From humble beginnings in 1935, founder, the late Thomas Joseph Dixon Madill together with wife Leda and family Garth, John and Robyn built a very proud and nationally respected privately owned and operated Queensland group of companies. With the retirement of Garth and John in 2020, the business has been handed over to the well-respected and highly experienced families of Simon Guthrie, Mark Woelders and Costa Pappas.
Now headed by Managing Director and Dealer Principal for John Madill Toyota, Simon Guthrie has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry and has relocated to the beautiful Sunshine Coast with his family. Joining him is James Leighton, Dealer Principal of Gympie Mazda, MG and Suzuki. James has also relocated to the region with his family.
At Madill Motor Group, our core business relates to the sale, service and repair of quality new and pre-owned motor vehicles of Toyota, Mazda, Suzuki and MG. Our dealerships look after all aspects of automotive retailing including new, demonstrator and pre-owned cars through to genuine manufacturer parts, warranty, accessories, servicing, finance and insurance.
We can also assist with your everyday servicing issues - from tyres, wheel alignments, batteries and brake tests, through to road worthy certificates, recalls and any warranty related issues.
Whilst the group sells products to a range of areas within Australia, it is the local customer, both business and private around Gympie, the Sunshine Coast and south east Queensland who are the mainstay of the Madill organisation. In total Madill Motor Group employs over 150 local staff and is heavily involved a variety of charities and local community groups.
